Year Completed: 1998

Description:
Constructed on the shores of Lake Michigan in Northern Michigan, this 170,000 s.f. cast in place concrete frame structure was completed in seven months. This project entailed blasting out the existing rock in order to get the foundations in place and partially building during the winter which added to the difficulty of construction. The form system was redesigned and built by Spence Brothers so as to eliminate the expensive process of re-shoring, saving the owner time and money.
