the Project study

As part of multiple branch expansions, Frankenmuth Credit Union renovated an existing, mid-century modern bank branch reflective of Midland’s architectural heritage. The existing facility was 3,960sf featuring a basement. Approximately 900sf was added to the building to provide additional office space and a mens bathroom.

A challenge associated with this project was incorporating new masonry and glazing on the exterior. Added loads required reinforced footings and foundations to placed under exterior walls, as well as new insulation for waterproofing and protection.
