the Project study

With Spence Brothers chosen in part for our extensive expertise dealing with the challenges of a highly sensitive and restricted worksite, the Hagerty 6/7 Building was constructed in the heart of Traverse City’s busy Downtown. A backdrop of residential and business neighbors directly adjacent, the project site is amid the City’s main thoroughfare for vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

With careful planning and thoughts of safety at the forefront, construction of a three-story building (with a lower level and a complex emergency power generator replacement) on the business’ pre-existing campus was constructed – along with all necessary tunnel and bridge connections. In addition to being home to the Hagerty Insurance Agency, this building also houses food service/cafeteria space, houses a coffee shop, and retail area.
