the Project study

An expansion to the main hospital built in 1960 provides 12 new state-of-the-art private patient rooms and renovations to the central core on the 2nd floor. Rooms were designed to be semi-private with bathrooms and showers to improve the patient experience for those needing an overnight stay.

The main floor of the hospital was expanded to provide physician clinics, a new entrance in line with a new canopy and an expanded lobby containing reception, registration, emergency waiting, and a gift shop. The new canopied entrance provides direct access into the main floor hospital based physician clinics and access into the hospital and emergency department including access to reception, registration, and emergency waiting.

The current east exterior panel system was removed and replaced with a new rain-screen metal panel system with new windows and related parapet roofing will be provided with roof-top metal screens around rooftop air handling units. Scope involves approximately 3,000 square feet of rain-screen metal cladding excluding the canopy.
