the Project study

Spence Brothers completed a 14-month phase of this $52 million federally funded project as the General Contractor. Construction work encompassed over $20 million of completing the building envelope, exterior finishes, and also included all of the building’s the electrical, heating, and plumbing systems, which offer sustainable features for long-term operational cost benefits to the Airport Commission.

The proposal for this new building stemmed from the findings of a study, which revealed the previous terminal was lagging in its electricity, air conditioning, and heating technology.
