Dow Announces Construction Manager for Innovation Center
New Innovation Center – home to more than 200 jobs – is a focus of Dow’s $121 million investment in the Great Lakes Bay Region
Spence Brothers is pleased to announce The Dow Chemical Company has selected our company to serve as the Construction Manager, collaborating with Shaheen Development, to deliver a world class Innovation Center for Dow, following a thorough and formal bidding process. Together they form a group with unmatched capabilities to exceed Dow expectations. The Great Lakes Bay Region is the home to both companies, and they have a strong commitment to working with local suppliers and subcontractors.
Construction of the Innovation Center was first announced in July 2017. The Center is designed to drive innovation at the intersections of silicone science and organic chemistry at the heritage Dow Corning corporate campus in Auburn, Michigan. The new facility will host approximately 200 research and development employees.
