the Project study

This large-scale, $69 Million addition/renovation project included nine locations throughout the school district.  Facility improvements throughout all nine facilities included the installation of new casework, exterior and interior door replacement, window replacement, new student lockers, visual display boards, flooring, site work for ADA compliance, new card access security improvements,  complete replacement of mechanical/electrical systems and technology, as well as new exit & emergency lighting and new fire alarms.

Work also included renovations to the science and computer labs, media center, and wood shop/cooking classrooms, the auditorium, and the terrazzo stairway at the Central High School; it also included refinishing of the terrazzo flooring and renovations to the auditorium at the Handy Middle School.
