the Project study

The Dennison Recreation Center provides fitness and wellness activities on the scenic campus of Interlochen Center for the Arts. The 21,000sf recreation center was made possible by a generous donation made by one of the organization’s trustees.

The Center includes a gymnasium accommodating full-size basketball court dividable into two smaller sized courts, with a rock climbing wall is located on the east wall of the gymnasium. The gymnasium accommodates room for telescoping bleachers for spectators. A 1,800sf cardio room on the first level houses stationary bikes, elliptical machines, and treadmills. The group fitness room provides 1,000sf of space for classes and programming.
