Spence Brothers joins CMURC as Corporate CoWork Partner

Spence Brothers joined four other Great Lakes Bay Region Businesses to sign on as the first Corporate CoWork Partners for CMURC. A grand opening of the first regional facility in Bay City is slated for March 1, 2017.

“We are pleased to partner with CMURC to assist emerging businesses in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Our corporate partnership not only provides Spence Brothers flexible office space to serve projects and clients in Bay City, Saginaw, and Mt. Pleasant, but also makes us part of the CMURC community. The opportunity to share space, services, and ideas with entrepreneurs and growing businesses is an excellent extension of Spence Brothers mission to build trust and important facilities with great people and organizations, driven to help each other and our communities thrive,” said Herb Spence III, Spence Brothers president and CEO.

The program was designed for businesses who want to expand their network, utilize off-sight meeting location options, and support CMURC’s mission to provide business incubation and acceleration services to entrepreneurs in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

“Our Corporate CoWorking allows for flexible and regional work spaces,” said Erin Strang, president and CEO of CMURC. “In addition to being able to utilize our multiple meeting spaces, our partners have access to build relationships within our community and are able to mentor our entrepreneurs who are in the early stages of their businesses, and get the first look at new technologies.”

Corporate CoWork partners focus on connections and collaboration to support CMURC and the entrepreneurs they work with. Community Perks of being a Corporate CoWorker includes networking, community collaboration, ideation meetings and more.
