the Project study

Located in Downtown Saginaw, the Delta College Saginaw Center’s objective is to provide Delta College’s high-quality educational services in an environment closer to the community it serves. The facility features eleven classrooms, basic science and computer labs, technology and special use training rooms in an urban context.

Saginaw Center provides the flexibility to teach general education, skilled trades, healthcare, and classes offering an entry point to career options. The design specifically sought to strengthen Delta’s ability to deliver the highest caliber college education and work-force training. The project, partially funded by State Capital Outlay funding, also features meeting spaces for students and community organizations.

Being an alumnus and being able to work on this building, it’s incredible. I have a lot of pride in what I do no matter what, but that makes it ten times more important for me. It’s exciting to see how much Delta has grown since I was there with all these new centers. I can’t wait to finish this one, because then we get to go on to the next one in Midland.

I’d be happy to provide you with more information on this project or schedule a personal tour for you of this great facility.”
