the Project study

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan expanded their Saganing Eagles Landing Casino with the construction of a 148-room hotel with multiple full service dining facilities. The hotel offers multiple room types that include an attractive all-purpose suite on the top floor of the hotel.

Connected to the existing casino, the hotel expansion entrance provides a direct view into the new, 400-slot machine gaming floor expansion, complete with Finance and Surveillance areas & equipment to support the casino. The new gaming floor was constructed with access to The Landing Restaurant and Lounge.

Construction of the hotel was unique in its use of panelized cold-formed steel stud framing, which was a newer application for hospitality projects in the Michigan market. Complete with pre-cast floors, hollow-core concrete planks over a slab-on-grade foundation.
