About Finance & Funding assistance
Finding sources of project funding is often one of the most challenging tasks in the project development process. Many organizations make the mistake of treating project development and fund development separately. Merging these efforts saves time and energy while providing an opportunity to proactively make your project more attractive to donors or financial institutions.

Spence Brothers are unique among most construction firms in that we provide a variety of services to help our Project Partners obtain finance and funding assistance. We view this as an important component of the Preconstruction process, as projects are not practical if they are not fundable. Accordingly, incorporating an understanding of available funding—and how to access that funding—into the project development process is essential to project viability.
Our team applies knowledge of grants and development incentives to create an optimal funding stack for projects. For our non-profit clients, we provide capital campaign planning and execution assistance. For commercial/for-profit clients, we can identify and pursue development incentives and assist the development of a project pro forma.
